Summer Boating!

I guess I really don't need to add a new post to this blog everyday, but it seems now I have a few people that actually read it and like to keep up with it, so now I feel like I have an obligation! It's fun though to finally find a way to share all the photos of the kids!


The collage you see above is mostly of a day of boating on the Scioto on June 7, 2008. It was the kids first time on the boat with us. Clayton even joined us for the fun. We had a great day and several other memorable moments on the boat this year. We're taking the boat out of the water tomorrow for the winter, so this seems like as good a time as any to post about our fun on the water!

On June 21st, the boat got it's new name. We had the pleasure of having Jack's sister Cherie and her husband Marc with us when we said a prayer to watch over us while boating and to honor my cousin's name. As you see, the ARC is for Adam Roderick Carter, hence the spelling and all caps.

Thanks to Paige for picking out the color and font for the sticker, and THANK YOU Josie for helping Paige make the sticker for us. I was truly moved by your generosity and your help in getting this done. Our whole family is enamoured with the new name and how quickly it was able to get done because of you. Thank you!
